The right service for your gearbox
- Identify the transmission
- We check its version, mileage and previous servicing. The DSG or S tronic name alone does not specify the maintenance.
- Oil and filter
- We use the specified transmission oil. The filter is replaced when required by that version’s maintenance schedule.
- Fill and check
- The oil level and checks follow the manufacturer’s procedure. The work is recorded in the service history.
Intervals depend on the car
There is no single oil-change interval for all DSG transmissions. Requirements depend on the transmission and manufacturer’s instructions. Different versions of the same car model may have different gearboxes.
If you do not know when the last transmission service was done, mention this in your request. We check the available information and agree on the necessary work.
Tell us about jerking before the service
A delay, vibration, unusual noise or gearbox warning may need diagnosis. Maintenance and fault repair are different jobs. We cannot promise that an oil change will resolve a symptom without identifying its cause.
